Very steady flow of Brides throughout the day. Very well organised and a great variety of exhibitors. Brides are always looking for something different, and this Fair did have that! Really enjoyed doing Newcastle Racecourse Wedding Fair it’s the best fair i’ve done, always a great turn out of brides and grooms. Very busy all day with enquiries,got several bookings on the day and lots of leads for the future. If you’re not able to do a lot of fairs you must include this one in your budget I found it great value, was able to give out a lot of leaflets and have had a great deal of interest in return. I can honestly say I’ve never given out so many leaflets or flyers at any similar fair, ever! There was a huge amount of visitors in the early stages of booking their Weddings, lots of quality exhibitors & seamless, smooth running of the event due to flawless organisation! We attended the Wedding & Venues Show at Newcastle Racecourse on Sun 31st august. there were a lot of people there and the response we had was great, we picked up lots of great leads. Happy to do so, although it’s a bit early yet to give a full outcome. However…“The quantity and quality of enquiries at this event were of a very high standard. Within days, these have already led many potential clients to arrange a follow-up meeting on our premises, for a more detailed quote. We had a wonderful day at Newcastle Racecourse Wedding Show organised through weddingfairs north east. we had an excellent space to exhibit and were in a great position to attract passing brides to be and couples preparing for their big day. it is a great place to showcase your products/services and give couples ideas for their upcoming weddings.

We had an excellent event, improving on the first racecourse fayre we did earlier in 2014. Good quality brides on 31/8/14. Not many couples just “shopping” which is good.

We had a really good day. We took loads of enquiries from potential brides and were surprised that the distance/location of our venue didn’t put them off. We thought the quality of the clients was great in that there were lots of bookers not just lookers. This was the first wedding showcase we have done outside of our venue Wallsend Hall. We have had 3 couples book their wedding with us and a further 2 possible bookings. It was also good to be out of our enviroment and hearing from people that they had heard of us, we had so much possitive feed back which is encouraging. We think it has been a good way to generate business and will be using this service again

We always hold our own in house wedding fayres, and this was the first time we had exhibited at an outside venue. We handed out more than 100 wedding brochures on the day, and took a number of email addresses with regard to information for 2015.Also very pleased to raise the awareness of our venue to a lot of the attendees who weren’t aware of the hotel’s location.Very well organised on such short notice. We had a great day at the Durham Wedding Show, there was plenty of Brides and good selection of stalls to see. We had lots of interest at our own stall with Brides coming to the show from all over the region.Overall we had a good response from the show and thought it was a success!

… the event is organised very well. The 2 girls on the door were very helpful and Peter is a nice guy to deal with. It takes 6 months to a year to be able to count the amount of bookings taken from the wedding fair itself therefore judging how cost effective / successful the fairs are. All in all, I am still at the experimental stage with wedding fairs. I would like to exhibit at least once or twice a year at the Wedding Pages Fairs.

We exhibited at the Durham Wedding Show for the first time. Unsure what to expect we went ahead and set up as normal. We were pleased with amount of visitors who attended the fayre as well as the quality of the visitor. The Durham Wedding Show was a well attended and organised show. A lot of promotion took place prior to the event including interactive social media with exhibitors. We met many new Brides and Grooms who were at the early stages of their wedding planning so it’s a perfect event for every wedding supplier. An excellent range of suppliers exhibited and we didn’t feel there was an overload of any specific type which is very refreshing!! We’ve tried many wedding fayres in the Durham area, and this is definitely one of the best attended by far – Simplicity Weddings & Simply Suits will be back next time!!

When Peter said this event would be very well attended I was sceptical, especially when the weather was so miserable!But I was very pleasantly surprised as from the moment the doors opened it was VERY busy. We had a lot of genuine interest and made a number of appointments on the day, with more queries coming in on the Monday after.All in all a very successful event and I look forward to attending again in the future.
